Presenting Problems: Seeking Solutions the Online Edition

​Our own Katy Hedalen-Shariff will once again moderate this round-table discussion. “Presenting Problems: Seeking Solutions” is a chance to share studio problems and brainstorm solutions in a spirit of growth and camaraderie. Whether your problems are in the administration of your business or technical challenges your students may be facing, bring your problems and we will help you find a solution.

Contemporary Music & Musical Theatre Scholarship Competition

Due to COVID-19  the competition will be online
Early bird entry deadline is November 8, 2020
Entries will be accepted up to the submission deadline

Competition is open to students of NATS members only.

Due to the pandemic, the competition will consist of online submissions to be adjudicated virtually this year. Participants will receive written feedback. A live online presentation will be made to announce the winners on January 15, 2021 and we will have a watch party of the winning entries. 

Contemporary Music Categories:
Intermediate Level - Ages 13-17    $20 (after November 8 - $30)
Senior Level – To Age 22               $30 (after November 8 - $40)
Advanced I – Age 23-30                $35 (after November 8 - $45)

Musical Theatre Categories:
Intermediate Level - Ages 13-17    $20 (after November 8 - $30)
Senior Level – To Age 22               $30 (after November 8 - $40)
Advanced I – To Age 30                 $35 (after November 8 - $45)

 (Ages as of December 31, 2020) 
Students must pre-register.

​Long time NATS Manitoba member Rosemarie van der Hooft is the founder of Blue Rose Yoga & Voice. She will bring her expertise as a voice, yoga and mindfulness instructor to inspire our wellness and performance.

Depending on the state of pandemic and government guidlines this event may be live or onlne.This will be determined by the beginning of January.

Join presenter Judith Oatway in discovering new or lesser known Manitoban repertoire and reintroduce us to gems of the repertoire. Repertoire for all age and skill level, publishers and more will be discussed. Manitoba is filled with song! Come discover more of it.

The NATS MB AGM will take place after the presentation.
